During the inception of this collection, I was going through a time in my life where I found myself looking back at what first beckoned me to create. A period of reminiscing about the sleekness I’d seen on the runways growing up in the 90’s, married with the textures and silhouettes that brought the softness I was always drawn to from old Hollywood. Pursuing my desire of self discovery and answering to the déjà vu I was experiencing, I started to design pieces that created a juxtaposition between past and present. A collection that instilled a new sense of creative prioritization, and redefined for me what actualizing my lifetime of personal inspiration should feel like.
